Make and take calls in Teams.
Your team dials out and answers business calls straight from the Microsoft Teams app they already use. NURV becomes the phone line behind it, and handles the setup — you keep Teams exactly as it is.
Your staff already work in Microsoft Teams. NURV becomes the phone line behind it, so they can make and take business calls straight from Teams, with unlimited calls around Australia included. You pay for how many outbound calls you make at the same time, not for each person. We set it up for you here in Perth. Each person who makes or takes outside calls in Teams also needs a Microsoft Teams Phone Standard licence from Microsoft.
If your staff already live inside Teams, you don’t need a separate phone system — you need a proper phone line behind Teams. That’s what this is.
Your team dials out and answers business calls straight from the Microsoft Teams app they already use. NURV becomes the phone line behind it, and handles the setup — you keep Teams exactly as it is.
You choose how many outbound calls your business can make at the same time. Concurrent inbound calls are unlimited. Local, national and mobile calls are included under a fair-use policy. Premium, international and 13/1300/1800 outbound calls are billed at the same rates as the rest of our voice services.
The equipment behind your calls runs across two Perth data centres — NEXTDC P1 (Malaga) and P2 (Perth CBD). Your calls stay in Australia, and if one site has a fault the other carries them.
When a number doesn’t ring, you call a senior Perth engineer who can see your calls. We handle the technical setup with Microsoft Teams for you.
We connect it to your Microsoft Teams, bring your existing numbers across, give each person the right number, and schedule the switch-over around your business hours.
Teams calling, your phone numbers, internet, mobile and analytics on one itemised NURV invoice. Your Microsoft licences stay on your Microsoft bill.
Microsoft Teams is where your staff chat, meet and — once this is set up — make and take phone calls. On its own, Teams can’t connect to the normal phone network. It needs a phone line behind it, and that’s the part we provide.
We connect our phone service to your Teams so your team can dial out and answer business calls straight from Teams, on your existing numbers or new ones from us. Microsoft handles the Teams app; we handle the calls.
Microsoft’s own Calling Plans are priced per person, with a minutes allowance or per-minute charges. With NURV you pay for how many outbound calls your business makes at the same time, not for each person. Concurrent inbound calls are unlimited, and so are calls around Australia. It’s easy to budget, and it sits outside your Microsoft 365 subscription.
Each person who makes or takes outside calls in Teams needs a Microsoft Teams Phone Standard licence. It’s included in Microsoft 365 E5 and Office 365 E5; most other Microsoft 365 business plans need it added. You buy it from Microsoft or your Microsoft partner, and it isn’t part of your NURV bill. You don’t need a Microsoft Calling Plan, because NURV provides the calls. We take care of the rest and set it all up for you.
It’s a supported way to make and take normal business calls straight from Microsoft Teams, with NURV as the phone line behind it instead of buying calling from Microsoft. Your team keeps dialling from Teams; we carry the calls.
Yes. Each person who makes or takes outside calls in Teams needs a Microsoft Teams Phone Standard licence. It’s included in Microsoft 365 E5 and Office 365 E5; most other Microsoft 365 business plans need it added. Your Microsoft 365 plan also needs to include Teams; if it’s a ‘no Teams’ plan, add Microsoft Teams first. Microsoft or your Microsoft partner bills you for it, not NURV. You don’t need a Microsoft Calling Plan — NURV provides the calls.
Shared phones, such as a reception or meeting-room phone, and main-number menus or call queues use different Microsoft licences. We’ll tell you which ones you need when we plan your setup.
It isn’t priced per person. Think about your busiest time of day and count the most people who’d be calling out at the same time. Calls you forward to a mobile count as outbound calls too. Then add one or two, so a busy moment doesn’t stop someone calling out. Inbound calls don’t count, because concurrent inbound calls are unlimited.
If you’re not sure, we’ll look at your current phone bill or call records with you and suggest a number. You can change it later.
Yes — landline, mobile, 13/1300/1800. We bring your numbers across and give each person the right number in Teams. Simpler numbers move quickly; trickier ones and 13/1300/1800 numbers we quote first. Typical timeline is two to three weeks from your go-ahead to switching over.
One to two weeks for most businesses. We connect it to your Teams and run a test in the first week, then move your numbers across in the second. Larger or multi-site businesses get their own plan.
Yes. We can set up 1300, 1800 and 13 numbers and point them at whichever person, team or menu you choose in Teams.
Teams' own call recording works alongside this if your Microsoft plan includes it. We can also record calls on our side for keeping, transcribing or analytics — handy if you want Cooey Analytics on your Teams calls.
Yes — Cooey Analytics can take the call records and recordings and run the same transcription, scoring and coaching as Connect MAX. It’s included with our Connect Pro and MAX phone plans; for Teams calling we set it up as an add-on.
We’ll review your current phone setup and send you a quote the same business day.
Don’t want to work inside Teams? Our hosted phone system gives you the full set of business phone features, including the same analytics.
Add Australian numbers to your Teams calling. We set them up, bring them across and point them where you want.
Add Cooey Analytics to your Teams calls, or put Neo Receptionist in front of your inbound calls.
