Where it started.
NURV was founded in Perth in 2008 by Phil George, a Murdoch University-trained internetworking and security graduate. The first version of the firm was a cloud telephony and IT services business for Western Australian small and medium operators — companies that needed phones and internet that worked, but didn’t want to keep an in-house engineer on payroll.
Where it is now.
Almost two decades later, what we do hasn’t changed much — there’s just more of it. Today we cover hosted phone systems, business internet, Microsoft Teams Calling, mobile, business numbers, and the AI tools that sit on top of every call. The platforms are built in-house: Cooey One for the phone system, Cooey Analytics for the reporting, and Neo for the AI receptionist.
Where the work lives.
Our infrastructure is in Perth — two NEXTDC data centres running active-active — and our team is here too. When something breaks, the engineer who designed it picks up the phone. That’s the entire pitch.
