Mobile · Australian 5G · Tier-1 AU carrier

Australian 5G mobile, billed by NURV.

Business mobile SIMs on a major Australian network — for staff phones, and data-only SIMs for tablets and hotspots. Month-to-month, no nasty excess charges, and your team shares one pool of data. First SIM free.

01 · What it does

What’s the same on every plan.

Australian 5G with 4G backup across the country, no nasty excess fees, and one bill with the rest of your NURV services.

01 / Coverage

Coverage for 98% of Australians.

Australian 5G in the cities and major regional centres, with 4G covering roughly 98% of the Australian population everywhere else. It runs on a major Australian mobile network — the same towers and coverage you already expect.

02 / Sharing

Your team shares one pool of data.

All your SIMs share the same data. Staff who use less cover staff who use more, so you don’t pay for a big allowance on every phone "just in case". One bill, one shared pool.

03 / No excess

No excess data charges.

If a SIM uses up its data, it just slows down for the rest of the month. No surprise charges, no bill shock at month-end. Need more? You can add a top-up any time.

04 / International

International calling included on most plans.

Most plans come with credit for calls overseas — more credit as you move up the plans. Once it’s used up, you only pay for what you use, charged by the second.

05 / Setup

First SIM free.

No SIM fee to get started, and a small fee if a staff member ever loses theirs. No connection fee, no exit fee, month-to-month. Keeping your existing numbers is handled by us, in the same paperwork as your other numbers.

06 / Top-ups

Add data when staff really need it.

For the odd month where someone needs a bit more, you can add extra data so they don’t slow down. It’s off by default — you decide whether to add it that month or leave it.

02 · How it works

Voice & data, or data-only — when to pick which.

Voice & data SIMs.

The regular mobile plan — staff get a number, can make and take calls and texts, and use mobile data. This is what most people mean by "a business mobile plan". Plans range from Saver (20 GB) for light users, through Value (40 GB) and Essential (100 GB, our most popular), to Elite (220 GB) for heavy users.

Data-only SIMs.

No phone number, no texts, no calls — just data. The right choice for tablets, mobile EFTPOS machines, and mobile hotspots. Costs less than a full plan because you’re not paying for calling you won’t use.

When to pick which.

Anyone making calls or sending texts needs a voice & data SIM. Anything that just needs the internet — like a tablet in the field — wants a data-only SIM. Both types share the same pool of data, so all your SIMs draw from the one allowance.

One bill, not a separate account.

Mobile sits on the same bill as your phone system, internet, numbers and analytics. Add a SIM, pause a SIM, change a plan, move a number between staff — it’s all in the same place.

03 · Questions people ask

Before the SIMs ship.

Can I keep my existing mobile number?

Yes — we port your existing mobile number across as part of the standard SIM order. Port-ins are typically same-day or next business day for mobile, and we co-ordinate with your current provider to avoid downtime.

Does it work overseas?

Yes — calls overseas and roaming while travelling work on every plan. Most plans include some credit for international calls; after that, you only pay for what you use. Roaming is pay-as-you-go by default and can be turned on or off for each SIM.

Can I hotspot from a phone?

Yes — using a phone as a hotspot is included on every voice & data plan, and it uses your normal data. If a staff member often hotspots a laptop, the shared pool of data across your account usually covers it without needing top-ups.

What phone do I need?

Any unlocked Australian phone will work. Bring your own, or buy through us if it’s easier. If your phone supports it, we can also set you up without a physical SIM card.

Can staff share the data?

Yes — every SIM on your account adds its data to one shared pool. A staff member on a quiet month helps cover a colleague on a busy one, and you stop paying for data no one uses. Any top-ups go into the same pool too.

How good is the 5G coverage in regional WA?

5G is concentrated in the Perth metro area and the major regional centres (Bunbury, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Port Hedland). Outside 5G, SIMs switch to 4G — which covers roughly 98% of the Australian population. We’ll confirm coverage at the addresses you give us before quoting.

Can I use a SIM as a backup for my office internet?

Yes — a data-only SIM in a 5G router is a common backup. When your wired nbn connection drops, the router switches to mobile automatically and your phones, EFTPOS and email keep working. We can quote both together.

Mobile that shares the same engineer as your phones.

One invoice. One number to call. We’ll quote SIMs alongside whatever else you need from us.
